OVERVIEW

What is CQ Medical?

CQ Medical — formerly CIVCO and QFIX — provides high-quality, innovative solutions for patient positioning during radiotherapy. The company is a leading manufacturer of fixation and immobilization equipment.

Why CQ Medical?

Increased precision and reproducibility

Non-invasive precision immobilization systems with sub-millimeter accuracy — secure fixation without patient intervention. Innovative products that contribute to increased precision and reproducibility in radiotherapy.

Patient-centered solutions

Products that can be adapted during CT/preparation based on each patient's anatomy and, if necessary, adjusted during treatment if the patient's anatomy changes — without starting over from the beginning.

Proven integration

Solutions and products that are tested and can be easily integrated with the radiotherapy clinic's other equipment such as tabletop inserts, SGRT systems, MR, and treatment planning systems.

What CQ Medical Offers—A Selection

NON-INVASIVE IMMOBILIZATION

A highly stable, non-invasive immobilization system that enables the simultaneous treatment of multiple tumors with a single isocenter. Precision of less than 1 mm; can be integrated with HyperARC through Varian.

ADJUSTABLE MASK FIXATION

Base plates and a leading range of thermoplastic masks. The masks are available in various materials, such as Fiberplast, and in open versions for SGRT as well as reinforced versions. Type-S masks feature an integrated shim that allows for easy adjustment of the mask during treatment if the patient’s anatomy changes—due to weight loss or swelling.

STEREOTACTIC PRECISION

Patient fixation devices for stereotactic treatments of the thorax, abdomen, and pelvis that contribute to high precision and reproducibility.

BREAST POSITIONING

Breast boards and wing boards for optimal patient positioning.

patient transfer

With minimal effort for the healthcare staff's backs, the patient can be safely transferred between preparation - CT/MR - treatment room without the patient needing to be repositioned.
